Information you provide

We collect account information, such as your name and email address, and the information you send us when you ask for help or contact our team. If you email us about a job, this includes the application materials you choose to send.

When you use Antinuous, we store your prompts, conversations, uploaded files, research sheets, sources, edits, preferences, and research history. This can include personal information about you or other people. Only provide information you have the right to use, and avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for your research.

Connected accounts and research sources

If you connect another service, we receive information about the connection and the content available through the permissions you authorize. Connected sources are used to read information for your research. You can disconnect a source in settings or revoke access through its provider.

We also obtain information from public websites and research providers to answer your questions. Public research can include information about people. Disconnecting a source stops future access through that connection, but does not automatically remove information already saved in a sheet or conversation.

Information collected automatically

Our service and infrastructure providers process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, request times, and error or activity records to deliver the service, diagnose problems, and prevent abuse. Guest usage limits use cookies and derived signals from network and browser information.

We use cookies to maintain sign-in and guest sessions. Browser storage also remembers interface preferences and temporary drafts. You can clear or block this storage in your browser, although doing so may sign you out, remove unsent drafts, or make guest research inaccessible.

Antinuous does not use advertising trackers. Our handling of information does not change in response to a browser's Do Not Track signal. External websites and embedded services may handle these signals differently under their own policies.

How we use information

We use information to create and maintain accounts, carry out research, generate answers, save and display your work, remember preferences, and run recurring updates. The agent may set up updates when your request calls for keeping public research current, and you can pause or delete them. We also use information to respond to requests, maintain and improve service reliability, detect misuse, and meet legal obligations.

Research can use the context of your sheet and conversation, including files and connected information, rather than only your latest message. Corrections you make can inform later research and presentation in your account.

Who receives information

We use service providers for hosting, storage, account authentication, AI processing, web research, connected accounts, and delivery of live results. AI providers may receive relevant prompts, uploaded files, and research context to fulfill your requests. Web research providers receive search queries, public URLs, and relevant extracted file content, not uploaded files or raw file bytes.

Information is also disclosed when you direct us to do so, including through exports or local agents you authorize. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect people and the service, or establish or defend legal claims. Information may transfer as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business, subject to applicable privacy obligations.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

External websites and media

Research links, maps, images, and embedded media can connect your browser to external services. Those services may receive technical information and use their own cookies under their privacy policies. This policy covers Antinuous, not the independent websites and services you visit or connect.

Storage and security

Saved research, conversations, and related history persist so you can return to your work. Removing an item from your workspace does not necessarily erase its related history, service records, or provider copies immediately. Retention depends on the information, the service functions it supports, and legal or security requirements.

We use measures designed to protect personal information, including authenticated access and account-scoped permissions. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate, whose privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

Your choices and rights

You can edit your research, export tables, manage preferences, and disconnect sources through the service. For account closure or other personal information requests, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request.

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain disclosures. California residents may have rights to know about collection and disclosure, correct or delete information, and opt out of sale or sharing where applicable. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

These rights have legal limits, including where information must be kept to meet a legal obligation or protect others. You may also have the right to complain to your local privacy regulator or appeal a decision on your request.

Younger users

Antinuous is not intended for children under 13 or anyone below the minimum age required in their country. If you are old enough to use the service but not old enough to agree to its terms on your own, a parent or guardian must give permission. Contact us if you believe a child below the minimum age has provided personal information so we can address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or our practices change. We will post the revised policy here with a new date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
